A mixture between a Nakiri and a Chinese Cleaver, this laser ground veggie killer has a slight S-grind making it perfect for all those starchy foods! I designed it to have a tanto tip to give it a more aggressive look.
Made from ball bearing 52100 steel and heat treated to 63HRC this Xtra Tall Nakiri is dressed up in my first “tuxedo” Wa style handle. Made from faux buffalo horn and faux ivory the main handle is a blackened oak. With a cutting edge of 6” and an OAL of 13.5” this one weighs in at a measly 6oz (168g). It stands 2.5” tall at the heel.
